Endtrucks, Wheel Blocks, and Drives - DFW endtrucks are complete, driven rail-mounted travel units and can be connected direct to load-bearing structures. In addition to the steel section, a rigid box girder profile, the travel units feature a driven Demag DRS wheel block, as well as a non-driven DRS wheel block. These endtrucks provide excellent travel characteristics, and Demag Gearmotors ensure smooth starting of the travel unit, whether with or without a load, with favorable speed/torque characteristics. The DRS wheel blocks can be readily adapted to many applications requiring rolling load transfers.
Corner Bearing wheel assemblies - High speeds, high loads and maintenance friendly are all possible with the KTL style endtrucks with corner bearing wheel assemblies. No special tools are required to service these units. A special wheel material with impregnated spheroidal graphite is use for both the DRS style and the corner bearing style wheels. The graphite reduces wheel wear and contributes to low noise during operation. Electric drives with hollow-shaft gearboxes and Demag brake motors are virtually maintenance-free.
CONTROLS - Controls are mounted in standard NEMA 12 rated enclosures or as required per application. Whether contactor control or VFC Variable Frequency Control, your Demag control package will be specifically designed to meet the demands of the application.
CONTROL PENDANTS - Ergonomically designed pushbutton pendants permit operators to work in a comfortable position thus reducing fatigue. DSK pistol grip pendant conforms to IP55 enclosure type, IP65 available. The DST style pendants are available in 4 different sizes and special versions by coupling two DST pendants, with up to 18 openings. Wall mounting is possible for the DST 3, 6, 7 and 9. The enclosure conforms to IP65 and is suitable for outdoor service..
RADIO CONTROLS - HBC hand held "Micron" and Belly box style units "Eco" and "Spectrum" shown at right are state-of-the-art radio systems. Long life memory free batteries, 900Hz operating frequency and a unique Joy stick design are just a few of the many features available with these radio systems.
KBK 0, 25 & 100 track systems Three section sizes - Hard-wearing, corrosion-resistant tracks with high rigidity and low dead weight. Trolleys with plastic or steel wheels mounted on anti-friction bearings, lubricated for life. Suspension fittings for all types of ceiling and roof structure. Particularly suitable for monorails and festoon-cable supply lines on cranes, automatic loading machines and machine tools. These small load systems can be equipped with balancers to provide ideal tool tracks on assembly lines, e.g., for carrying drills and power tools efficiently and safely.
